Become an HRS member
We welcome any member of Chief and Council, Housing Team or Housing Portfolio Holder from Upper Nicola Band or any one of the First Nations within the Nlaka’pamux, and Secwepemc Nations.
Consultants or contractors are not eligible for membership unless they hold a housing manager position for a specific First Nations within the catchment area. There is no cost for the membership; however, the membership will expire on April 1 of each year and will need to be renewed. Benefits of being a member
There is no cost to become a member, and the following are benefits for membership:
- Early notification of all Workshops, Forums, and Information Sessions
- Access Member’s Only Website, which allows Members to have access to the central repository of housing information provided by the HRS Members including:

Planning and Governance includes documents and proven practices that support housing Leadership, departments, and committees with effective planning and implementation of housing projects.

Funding and Financing includes the budgeting, funding, and financing of new builds, renovations housing projects, and guidelines on accessing funding for housing projects.

Construction and Renovation includes the design, pre-construction, procurement, construction and building, commissioning, owner occupancy and project close-out as well as the process of improving a broken, damaged, or outdated building.

Administration and Tenant Relations includes the administration of your housing project such as policies, templates, job descriptions, asset management and tenant relations.
