The Program connected Housing Managers across Canada who shared resources and strategies that had worked for them, and we could implement into our own communities. The group projects were a team building experience and to be successful you had to work together as a team and a partner, which covered every aspect of housing.
Sharon would encourage other Housing staff and new staff to take the program as it provides practical knowledge and skills to manage housing projects; introduction to general transferable management concepts and theories; and an understanding of the basic elements of construction and renovations in relation to the role and responsibilities of a housing manager.
